1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LifeOS Assistant ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

LifeOS Assistant is an AI-powered personal productivity and memory management application. The App uses artificial intelligence (powered by Google Gemini API) to help you capture, organize, and manage tasks, memories, and communications.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI may occasionally provide inaccurate information; verify critical tasks independently before acting on AI-generated suggestions.

The App uses Google Gemini API and other AI services to generate responses, suggestions, and analyses. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. LifeOS Assistant is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

LifeOS offers two subscription tiers:

Normal — $9.99/month (USD): Full access to ambient voice capture, document scanning, AI assistant (Flash-speed model), proactive suggestions, encrypted vault, and all core features.

Premium — $14.99/month (USD): Everything in Normal, plus the Pro AI model for deeper reasoning and expert logic, enhanced image analysis, and priority processing.

Both plans are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's store settings.

5. Data Processing & Privacy

LifeOS stores your memories, tasks, voice note transcripts, and conversation history on our secure servers, encrypted at rest (AES-256) and scoped to your device. Your Secure Vault data (passwords and private notes) is stored only on your device using hardware-backed encryption and is never transmitted.

AI features require sending voice recordings, transcripts, and contextual data (location, calendar, tasks) to Google Gemini and OpenAI for processing. These providers process data in real-time and do not retain it under our enterprise data processing agreements.

The app uses background microphone access as a dedicated voice assistant (similar to Siri or Alexa) and foreground location access for navigation and location-aware suggestions. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete details on data handling.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content you input into the App. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any API keys stored within the App.

7. Content Safety

LifeOS Assistant implements content safety filters that prevent the AI from generating harmful, illegal, or NSFW content. Attempts to circumvent these safety measures may result in termination of your access to the service.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Vault settings in the App. Upon deletion, all server-stored data (memories, tasks, conversations, voice transcripts) is permanently erased within 24 hours, and all locally stored data including Secure Vault entries is permanently and irreversibly erased from your device.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LifeOS LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeOS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the App. Actions involving external communications (sending messages) require explicit user approval and are never executed automatically.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
